<p> <span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">The splendid inaugural ceremony of Annual Sports 2022-23 took place with the presence of Rev Fr Vinoy George MSFS as the chief Guest. The whole community was divided into four teams namely Romance of Romeo, Mysuru Magadheera, Hercules of H.D Kote, and Rio Rocks under the able leadership of Bro. Punith Lakra, Bro. Stejin Stellus, Bro. Rohan Galbao and Bro. Robin T. Reji. Each team presented themselves demonstrating the names they have chosen. The ceremony was initiated by hoisting the Flog by the chief guest on which logo of the team was imprinted with the theme of the Annual Sports 2022-23 <strong><em>Dum Spiro Spero</em></strong><em> (<strong>While I breathe I hope”)</strong></em> After which he addressed the gathering saying that this annual sports may lead you to grow in the field of games and sports and this benefit you in every aspect of life. He went on further taking the example from the Old Testament the story of Jacob who said that I will not let you go Lord until you bless me so also the sports men should fight until the victory is yours so to say never give up until last breath as the theme of annual sports and games stands for. The captains as well as the Organisers took the oath promise to deliver the best of their energies to make these sports events beneficial. The trophy was unveiled by Fr Vinoy George. The ceremony was concluded by Sports Anthem, followed by volley ball match to kick off the inauguration of the sports.</span></span></p> <p> </p>
